Set Designer

Chang received her BA in drama from National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) and BA in visual arts from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design (ECUAD), Vancouver, Canada. She worked as Scenic Designer for 4 CHAIRS THEATRE’s 0920022012, Monument and Please Open The Curtains, Ifkids’ To \"Bee\" or not to \"Bee\" in 2010 and Our Theatre’s Watermelon Boats at the 3rd Grasstraw Festival in 2011. She was also involved in the water show Water Story at the 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition as Deputy Stage Manager, Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group’s Hsu Yen-Ling × Sylvia Plath as Assistant Stage Manager during its French tour in 2009, 4 CHAIRS THEATRE’s Elevator as Stage Manager in 2009 and Creativity Society’s He is my Wife, He is my Mother as Assistant Stage Manager in 2009.

Chang now lives in Vancouver, Canada, with his husband. The couple is committed to experimenting with new lives, which currently include “how to be useless” and “staying forever young”. Completed life projects include 2015 “Haida Gwaii Island” – a real-life Happy Farm experience, 2017 “raw food practice” – eating raw food for half a year, 2018 “Tiny Space Living Tour” – a Canadian road trip. Her current creative activities include painting, pottery and being a lovely wife. A website for her portfolio is coming soon.
