Actor

Yang completed his BA and MA (performance-focused) in drama from National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA). He is a member and actor of 4 CHAIRS THEATRE and a Level 2 snowboard Instructor certified by the Canadian Ski Council. His recent works include 4 CHAIRS’s Zoo of Cards, Monument and Waiting for What!?, Creativity Society’s He is my Wife, He is my Mother. He also acted in PoYouSet’s shuihu sheihu (水滸.誰唬) and SONG SONG SONG Children’s & Puppet Theatre’s The Dwarf who Loved Snow White. Born in 1985 in the Year of the Ox, Yang now lives in Vancouver, Canada, with his wife. The couple is committed to experimenting with new lives, which currently include “how to be useless” and “staying forever young”. Completed life projects include 2015 “Haida Gwaii Island” – a real-life Happy Farm experience, 2017 “raw food practice” – eating raw food for half a year, 2018 “Tiny Space Living Tour” – a Canadian road trip. His current creation is to explore body dynamics.
